Lacquer Bracelet

Simple. Delicate. Beautiful. This lacquer bracelet from Myanmar reminds me of a little girl in one of our kids programs. When I first met her she was recently orphaned and so thin she looked incredibly delicate… but she had the most beautiful, happy smile you’ve ever seen. She is now living at a Christian boarding school and is so much healthier I don’t think I would have recognized her except for the smile.

The diameter of the bracelet is about three inches. It should easily fit over most hand sizes.
