Elephant Purse – Green/Black
1 in stock
I sort of fell in love with all things elephant on my recent trip to Southeast Asia. It probably had something to do with riding an elephant this time! This tote bag came from a the night market in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Shopping there is quite the experience! Imagine 90-degree temperatures (even late at night), tuk tuks coming and going, tourists from all over the world who have come to see Angkor Wat, and vendors and shoppers haggling over prices in a dozen different languages. If you get tired of shopping you can dunk your feet in a tank filled with little fish who will give you a “massage.” Yeah… weird!
The bag itself is about 14″x10.5″. The top of the shoulder strap is pleated, but can spread out to about 7″ wide, making the purse very comfortable to carry. It has a decorative coconut shell medallion on the front and a small coconut shell button closure at the top.
