This incredibly delicate and intricate beadwork necklace is from Saraguro, a town famous for their beaded jewelry, but better known to Global Encounters teams is the place where we hold an kids’ program each Christmas for kids in a tiny mountain village… and where they have a parade with creatures dressed up to look oddly like dancing bushes.

The necklace is about 21″ long.
